Moni and neighbors held a special community event led by Christopher Shein, local permaculture expert and author of The Vegetable Gardener’s Guide to Permaculture.

Permaculture offers more than lessons about growing food. It asks us to think about how healthy systems are built: strengthening relationships, caring for shared resources, creating resilient neighborhoods, and making thoughtful decisions that benefit the people who come after us. Those same principles are at the heart of Moni’s vision for District 1.
